From Colombia (Bogota, Cali, Medellin or Cartagena with Wingo Air for example) there are cheap flights to get to San Andres. From there we have contact with the Captain and french Owner of a 44 ft sailboat with three cabins and two very comfortable bathrooms to pick up the island and go to Providencia if you have the time.

The Island of Providencia is located 90 kms north of San Andres. Front of the Nicaragua, it’s belongs to Columbia. Providencia is connected at the tiny island of Santa Catalina by a small colorful wooden bridge, at the image of the others constructions of this Paradise area.
The Island has staid far from tourism during years, and today develops a modest ecotourism which gives it the liberty to keep its peace of mind. On the same way, the sea has been protected and a large quantity of species can be seen in the crystal waters of its coral reef.
